The Search: Poignant drama of American cadet Clift and concentration camp survivor Jandl in postwar Berlin, when the boy's mom despondently searches all the camps for him. Killpoint: A boring, one dimensional action film with cop Fong and agent Roundtree on the track of gun runners. This film is action packed and brutally vicious. Cast includes Leo Fong, Richard Roundtree, Cameron Mitchell, Pile Perforate, and Wish Holy day. (89 minutes, 1984)

Kingdom of Heaven: A blacksmith, reeling from personal catastrophe, is influenced to join the Crusades by an illustrious knight, who says he is the young gentleman's dad. The new knight shows his mettle by demonstrating himself a man of the people who battles to accomplish harmony between the Muslims and the Christians when guarding Jerusalem. Impressive, mythical film manages to find nobility in the Crusades, although by no means loses sight of its core personality's personal voyage. Cast includes Orlando Bloom, Limn Neeson, Eva Green, Jeremy Irons, David Thewlis, Brendan Gleeson, Marton Csokas, Ghassan Massoud, Edward Norton, and Jon Finch. (145 minutes, 2005)

The Happening: A light hearted and light headed caper tale focusing around the abduction of a now honorable used to be gangster (Quinn). This is Dunaway's film debut. The title melody became No. 1 hit for The Supremes. Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade: The Nazis are still looking for religious artifacts. Now they are hunting for the Holy Grail. Indiana's father has gone missing in Europe. He was also seeking the Grail. Now on a desperate search, Indiana tries to find his father, and the Grail.

Dodgeball, A True Underdog Story: Peter is the proud owner of Average Joe's gym. His luck is running low and White Goodman, owner of gym franchise Globo Gym, wants to get the gym from Peter. Things culminate in a dodge ball competition in which Average Joe's team must win for Peter to keep his beloved gym.

Heartaches: Pregnant Potts drops spouse Carradine who is not the child's dad and becomes the unwilling friend of gentleman-seeking screwball Kidder. Fine lead performances kindle this little comedy. Cast includes Margot Kidder, Annie Potts, Robert Carradine, Winston Rekert, George Touliatos, and Man Sanvido. (93 minutes, 1981)

Spungen: Director Cox accomplishes a masterful level of a documentary-reality. He then laces it with metaphorical fantasy icons, with striking outcomes. At the center of the film are two incredible performances by Goldman and Webb, who don't appear to be acting at all: They are Sid and Nancy. The movie is a downer, to be certain, however captivating.
