Susies Flick Picks To See

By Susie Wilder

We have reviews of some movies listed below. You can find a lot of information on movie downloads sites if you do a good search. Film download searches will include "Unlimited Downloads", "Movie Download Site", and "Download Full Length Movie".

The Search for Signs of Inteligent Life in the Universe: This is a witty re-creation of Lily Tomlin's 1985 one female Broadway show. Her characterizations run the gamut from box woman to juvinille delinquent to New Age Lady, with much of the material in a feminist vein. The show stars Lily Tomlin obviously. (120 minutes, 1991)

Lilo and Stitch: Forlorn Hawaiian gal being brought up by her older sibling finds a doubtful buddy at the dog pound an alien whom she names Sew. In the mean time, ambassadors from Sew's world have arrived in this world to recover the damaging little creature. Gorgeous watercolor surroundings are simply spectacular. Cast includes Voices of Daveigh Pursue, Christopher Michael Sanders, Tia Carrere, Kevin McDonald, Ving Rhames, David Ogden Stiers, Zoe Caldwell, Jason Scott Lee, and Kevin Michael Richardson. (85 minutes, 2002)

Slaughter in San Francisco: Prior cop Wong desires retribution on killer of his companion. Norris, in an aiding role, is the poor guy. Cast includes Don Wong, Ditch Norris, Sylvia Channing, Robert Jones, and Dan Ivan. (87 minutes, 1981)

Onionhead: A messy film with Griffith joining the Coast Guard in pre WW2 and becoming a ships chef. The film tries to be a comedy, a romance, and a drama at the same time and succeeds at none. Cast includes Andy Griffith, Felicia Farr, Walter Matthau, Erin O'Brien, Joe Mantell, Ray Danton, James Gregory, Joey Bishop, Roscoe Karns, Claude Akins, Peter Brown, and Tige Andrews. (110 minutes, 1958)

Jupiter's Darling: Lavish musical of Robert Sherwood's Street to Rome, which weighs down in boredom. Williams is a temptress who dallies with Hannibal (Keel) to stop an attack on Rome. Cast includes Esther Williams, Howard Keel, George Sanders, Marge and Gower Victor, and Norma Varden. (96 minutes, 1955)

Big Time: This is a Tom Delay compilation. Show footage filmed at LA's Wiltem Show is combined with scenes of the chameleon like Delay as assorted and miscellaneous characters: you'll see Delay, the sleazy lounge lizard, Delay's the gravel-voiced crooner, and Delay's the genuinely astounding actor. For Tom Delays fans, this is the next best thing to noticing him live. (87 minutes, 1988)

Barfly: Surprisingly entertaining photograph of L.A. lowlife, and boozy, recklessly macho author Henry Chinaski, played with bravado by Rourke. Dunaway is magnificent as his alcoholic soulmate. Based on the auoobiographical writings of cult top choice Charles Bukowski, who might be noticed on one of the bar stools. Cast includes Mickey Rourke, Faye Dunaway, Alice Krige, Jack Nance, J.c. Quinn, and Frank Stallone. (97 minutes, 1987)

S.o.B.: An inventor hatches a plan to turn his latest turkey into a hit: juice it up with pmlography and have his spouse-megastar (Andrews) plain her breasts. A glib satire on contemporary Movieland tosses in everything from black humor to dry, with wildly choppy outcomes. This was Holden's last film. Cast includes Julie Andrews, William Holden, Richard Mulligan, Robert Preston, Robert Vaughn, Loretta Swit, Larry Hagman, Marisa Berenson, Robert Webber, Stuart Margolin, Craig Stevens, Shelley Winters, Rosanna Arquette, and Jennifer Edwards. (121 minutes, 1981)

The Eagle and the Hawk: Well generated anti war film with hesitant idol March, intimidating gunner Grant, everyone's buddy Oakie, and understanding city gal Lombard. Awakening John Mouk Saunders tale is still well timed. Cast includes Fredric March, Cary Grant, Jack Oakie, Carole Lombard, and Douglas Scott. (68 minutes, 1933)

These movies and thousands of others can be downloaded from the internet. To find online download sites, try "Streaming Online Movies" or "Movie Download Web Sites" in the search engines. You can search "Download Video" if the others don't help you. - 18424

Don't Ignore These Cool Family Films

By Jesus Hunter

Movies that please each person in the family unit are not as easily found as some others. Films with a G rating are somewhat rarely found as even most of the cartoon movies sport a PG rating. PG stands for "parental guidance", maybe that means that movies are more entertaining when each person watches as a family.

One splendid family motion picture that has withstood the test of time is "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". This motion picture is in fact the 10th best-selling motion picture of all time for all genres. It was also Walt Disney's original feature length animated film. It was first out in 1937 and over the preceding 6 decades it has been reissued eight times. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is ageless.

One of the most accepted series of family movies has been the "Shrek" series. We have all enjoyed the frolics of the "greatest fairy tale never told", where the ogre is the hero and the charming prince is not the charming one. An famous cast, such as Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy has kept us smiling.

First there was the first "Shrek" in 2001, followed by "Shrek 2" in 2004. "Shrek the Third" came out in 2007. Two more movies are considered and in the works now. "Shrek, Forever After" coming out in 2010 and 5th episode, promised to be the end in 2013.

Pixar has also brought us some notable films, including "Finding Nemo" from 2003, its most accepted motion picture to date and "Monsters, Inc." from 2001. Other significant movies from Pixar are "The Incredibles", "Cars" and the latest release "Up".

Going past cartoons there are a few children's films that every family unit should see. The picture "Charlotte's Web" came out in 2006. It is very truthful revision of the magnificent book by E.B. White. It is a "must see" for every family unit.

The fifth best-selling motion picture of all times and all genres is another remarkable children's movie. "E.T., The Extra-Terrestrial" came out in 1982. It captures the mind of childhood in a sci-fi escapade that everyone loves. It is a true classic.

Watching movies as a family is a fantastic entertainment. that every person can enjoy. Now you can download movies right at home and enjoy them even more. - 18424

The Best Xbox 360 Games

By Larry Moon

Searching for an Xbox 360 game can be a little bit tough, because of the amount of titles that are piled on retail shelves daily. The reason there are so many titles on the shelf for Xbox is because they were the pioneer of the seventh generation gaming consoles that were released. The newest games that come out for the Xbox 360 are almost $60 no matter what the title is. So instead of going out and blowing your money on a cool game that looks awesome on the box, you should consider these titles.

One of the top games last year based on reviews from very well known gaming sites was Fallout 3. Fallout 3 was developed by the same company that made Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and is an engrossing action role-playing game with post World War II setting. The Character levelling system, unreal graphics, and open-ended game play earned Fallout 3 some of the highest marks last year from reviewing sites. So if you were an Elder Scrolls IV fan you will definitely be a fan of Fallout 3.

Another great open-ended game is Grand Theft Auto IV which has been one of the most highly anticipated games for 2008. It has won several "Game of the Year" awards for its lasting gameplay and excellent presentation. Xbox 360 owners are lucky that they can enjoy more of the game by downloading additional episodes from Xbox Live. Currently there is one extra episode with a second one to be released later this year.

There are not a whole lot of games that keep you on the edge of your seat anymore with the "Scary" title. Dead Space was listed last year as the "World's Scariest Game". It's a very dark and thrilling game that is a third-person shooter, leaving no room to be bored.

Gears Of War 2 was another game that was highly anticipated and rated as one of the best games of the year. This game won quite a few awards this year making this game a must have and well worth money. It offers unreal graphics, high speed game play, great single player action, as well as the ability to play with up to as much as 9 others.

Action-packed games do not have to be 3-D and bloody and Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 proves it. This Xbox Live Arcade shooter was greatly praised by critics for the different modes to choose from. It is much better than its predecessor and some consider it as the best Xbox Live Arcade game during the time of its release. Because it is an Xbox Live Arcade title, it is a lot cheaper than the other games mentioned.

Another game that made headlines this year was a game called Braid. This is an interesting but extremely fun game that will stimulate your mind, and make you think. Puzzle games can be challenging but the musical score, and story line come very high touted by review sites.

There are many more Xbox live games that are worth playing. This best way to find these games is to check out the game review websites and see what reviews have the highest scores. The Xbox live is an excellent system to have if you want lots of gaming options. - 18424

Sales of Michael Jackson Posters on the Rise

By Jenna Landers

Visitors to eBay looking at Michael Jackson memorabilia in the weeks leading up to his death, would have been able to by Michael Jackson posters from as little as just one cent. If you were to complete a similar search today, just three weeks later, the story would be somewhat different.

As millions of fans across the world struggle to reconcile Jackson's death, an equally high number of people are looking at the collective outpouring of feeling as a time to profit.

For one company in the UK, this sudden boost has resulted in sales approaching two million in the three weeks since the death of the entertainer. So rapid has been this surge, and with demand increasing daily, extra staff to support the fifty permanent employees have quickly been taken on.

Trade has been so hectic at Pyramid International, that despite the employment of extra staff; working extra shifts at evenings and weekends has become a normal part of the working week.

Until his death, sales of Michael Jackson Posters were averaging just 10, 000 each year; despite Pyramid holding the exclusive rights to sell posters of the star in the UK. However, the order book is today bursting with orders from the USA, Europe and Australia.

The biggest sellers have been the hastily redesigned "This Is It" tour posters. The three commemorative posters were initially produced in celebration of his farewell performances in the O2 Arena in London. That these are now being sold as a final farewell is poignant.

On a global scale, stories like this are replicated, as people are desperate to own their own final images of Michael Jackson.

However, for those fans, (or possibly for those waned fans), who can bear to be separated from their Michael Jackson collection built up through the years; it could also be set to become a very profitable time.

Whilst some fans may have neglected the singer, loyal fans and a younger generation are still in the majority. This fuels the trade and pushes prices even higher than their market value. Whilst they come to market very infrequently, the search is still very much on for the elusive Michael Jackson posters, in mint condition, personally signed by The Thriller, The Moonwalker and the little boy from Gary, Indiana. - 18424
