The objective of every Hollywood producer is to put out a movie that is a huge hit. The combination of a great story with outstanding actors and special effects seems to be the formula for a epic. However, it doesn't always work and now and again even when a movie has all of the factors that apparently make a success, it still fails at the box office. There is no definite formula for a Hollywood triumph.

Down to Earth - Homer Croy's continuation to "They had to See Paris" has nouveau riche Midwesterner Rogers setting an end to his family's meaningless investing by affirming that he's broke. Not one of Will Roger's best film attempts. Cast includes Can Rogers, Irene Opulent, Dorothy Jordan, and Mary Carlisle. (73 minutes,'32)

La Petit Lili - A family's country house is charged with sentiment while the hotheaded child, a yearning film maker actor, finds that his lady friend is enthralled with his mother's boyfriend, a triumphant head of films. Radiant film empowered by Chekhov's The Seagull, investigating the line between art and life, and how the 2 influence each other. Cast includes Nicole Garcia, Bernard Giraudeau, Jean-Pierre Marielle, Ludivine Sagnier, Robinson Steveniu, Julie Depardieu, Yves Jacques, and Michel Piccoli. (104 minutes, 2003)

Bug - film rendition of Tracy Letts' play is tough to take critically however not without a twist or two if you could recognize it as a stunt. This is simply bug versus man. Cast includes Ashley Judd, Michael Shannon, Harry Connick, Jr., Lynn Collins, and Brian F. O'Byrne. (101 minutes, 2007)

The Seniors - 4 collegians open a fake sex hospital, which mushrooms into a multi million dollar business. The movie is alternately stupid and sarcastic, with some harmless nudity thrown in. Cast includes Jeffrey Byron, Gary Imhof, Dennis Quaid, Lou Richards, PrisciIla Barnes, Alan Reed, Edward Andrews, Robert Emhardl, and Alan Hewitt. (87 minutes,'78)

Scandalous - Featherbrained deception in regards to investigative Television journalist who runs afoul of a team of con artists as he tries to remove himself from a homicide charge. Cast includes Robert Hays, John Giegud, Pamela Stephenson, and Jim Dale. (94 minutes,'84)

Rude Boy - Enraged young rebel Gange is employed by the rock group The Conflict as a roadie. The film is an harsh, practical, documentary-like personality examination with exceptional footage. Rock fans will not be disillusioned, others take heed. Cast includes David Mingay, The Conflict, Ray Gange, John Green, Barry Baker, Terry McQuade, and Caroline Coon. (133 minutes,'80)
