The list below has some good movie reviews. If you want to download these movies do some searches to find what is out there. "Best Movie Rental" or "Internet Movie Downloads" might get you a good result, if they don't, try "Movie Download Software".

The Great New Wonderful: A striking drama, set one year after 9-11, concentrates on a variety of New Yorkers who either are battling to handle their emotions in regards to that atrocious night or in reference to their lives as if nothing had occurred. They contain a couple with a dysfunctional child, an older lady snared in a miserable matrimony, a set of security guards, and an outwardly affable accountant who worked at the World Trade Center, and survived. Discreet, incisive research of suppressed anger uses humor and observation to dramatize the importance of living a life that has meaning. Cast includes Olympia Dukakis, Jim Gaffigan, Judy Greer, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tom McCarthy, Sharat Saxena, Naseeruddin Shah, Tony Shalhoub, Stephen Colbert, Dick Latessa, Can Amett, Anita Gillette, and Edie Falco. (87 minutes, 2006)

Heartland: A basic, well informed tale of hearty Americans surviving the frontier life, circa 1910. Ferrell plays a youthful widow who acknowledges a job as housekeeper for dour rancher Tom in the wilds of Wyoming. Well performed, well filmed, and beautifully understated, based on the real journals of a pioneer lady. Cast includes Rip Torn, Conchata Ferrell, Barry Primus, Lilia Skala, Megan Folson, and Amy Wright. (100 minutes, 1979)

The Sins of Lola Montes: An intense melodrama set in Belgian Congo with Dickinson a missionary nurse engaged in romance and local clashes. Cast includes Angie Dickinson, Peter Finch, Roger Moore, Woody Strode, Rafer Johnson, Juano Hernandez, Mary Wickes, and Scatman Crothers. (124 minutes, 1961)

The Delicate Delinquent: Jerry's first solo attempt after separating with Dean Martin has him as a janitor mistaken for a juvenile delinquent who becomes a cop with McGavin's help. Cast Jerry Lewis, Martha Hyer, Darren McGavin, Horace McMahon, and Milton Frome. (100 minutes, 1957)

Deep Red: There's style to burn in pointless terror thriller with Hemmings on the trail of a sadistic psycho murderer. Showy, weird scenes set to beating rock soundtrack. Cast includes David Hemmings, Daria Nicolodi, Gabriele Lavia, Macha Meril, and Glauco Mauri. (98 minutes, 1975)

Last summer: A commanding tale based on Evan Hunter novel of adolescents playing on the shore in a summer resort. The film follows their games, sensual awakenings, and how evil materializes itself with incredible determination. Cathy Bums was a standout. Cast includes Richard Thomas, Barbara Hershey, Bruce Davison, Cathy Burns, Ralph Waite, and Conrad Bain. (97 minutes, 1969)

For Keeps: Studious adolescent Ringwald finds that she is pregnant, and must swiftly face adult duties. The topic is most beneficial, although the outcome is unsurprising and fake. Tim Kazurinsky coauthored the screenplay. Cast includes Molly Ringwald, Randall Batinkoff, Kenneth Harms, Miriam Flynn, Conchata Ferrell, Sharon Brown, Renee Estevez, and Larry Drake. (98 minutes, 1989)

The Protector: A bizarre mix of a kung-fu film and a boy and his pup tale, this inexpensive looking production from Thailand gets sentimental as a youthful martial artist has his cherished elephant stolen by thugs and transported to Australia. Following the poor men there, he hooks up with a Thai born Australian investigator and does battle with wicked gangs and others in an attempt to repossess his little Dumbo. Cast includes Tony Jaa, Petchtai Wongkamlao, Bongkoj Khongmalai, Nathan Jones, Johnny Nguyen, Xing Jing, and Damian De Montemas. (81 minutes, 2005)

Mrs. Brown, You've got a Lovely Daughter: A stupid reprieve for a film, with Herman and his Hermits heading for London to enter their greyhound in a race. In between the anticipation they harmonize some of their big hit songs. Cast includes Herman's Hermits, Stanley Holloway, Mona Washbourne, Sara Caldwell, and Javelin Percival. (100 minutes, 1984)
