The Worst Xbox 360 Games
Since the Xbox 360 originally came out quite some time ago, we've been fortunate enough to see some excellent titles which leave us longing for more. On the other hand, we've seen just as many titles which have left us feeling angry and cheated.
Of course, considering how much money we're expected to part with, how can anyone blame us for having high hopes in terms of the production companies producing a good game. After all, considering how much money these companies make, they essentially don't have the right to release a game simply to boost their profits. Admittedly, a game doesn't necessarily need a great storyline in order for it to be good, but it does need a few things in order to make it unforgettable.
For example, let's take a look at "Two World's", a game which very few enjoyed simply because the graphics were deplorable. Over and above the graphics, the sound quality was equally as bad. If you ever had the chance to play the game and you're honest, you'll agree that it was a total failure.
Another game - and it won't be a surprise if no one has heard of - is called Hour-of-Victory. The problem with this game is that it appeared on the shelves in stores a couple of years late. If you are looking for a great WW2 game, there is the Call-of-Duty franchise. The problem with HOV is the horrible sound and graphics. The level of design is awful and the artificial intelligence could have been trees instead. Let's not mention the bugs and glitches.
Vampire Rain was yet another total disappointment, especially since we tend to expect vampire games to be great. After all, if we play a stealth game we expect it to be challenging in the same way the Splinter Cell games are. However, in Vampire Rain, you could sneak past the vampires, even bumping them in the process, and yet you could still get through. The fact that the game was an instant failure says it all.
Perhaps you remember "Jumper"? When a game is originally intended for a lower end machine, the programmers to a certain extent deserve a little bit of credit with regards to making it slightly better for a new platform. However, with Jumper that was certainly not the case considering it made use of PS2 graphics all the way through. In fact, it was an insult to our intelligence.
The games mentioned above are just the tip of the iceberg as far as bad games are concerned. As you may have already discovered yourself, it's incredibly easy to throw your money away on a bad game simply because by the time you realize it, it's too late.
A suggestion? Do your research and there are many sites offering honest reviews. Don't take it because the pictures on the cover look pretty. - 18424
