Everybody seems to have a undeniable favorite when it comes to movie genres. Some are fond of horror movies, a few are keen on action movies, some prefer dramas or chick flicks and a lot of of us enjoy excellent documentaries. Dramas are pretty popular with most folks. Some of the best drama's from the past 20 years or so would include "Slumdog Millionaire" from 2008, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" from 2004 from very recent, and "Schindler's List" from 1993, "American Beauty" from 1999, "The Shawshank Redemption" and "Forrest Gump" both from 1994, and of course, numerous others that there is no space to bring up.
Horror movies are enjoyable if you love to be frightened and a large amount of us do at times. Some classics that must be seen are "The Exorcist", "Silence of the Lambs" and "The Shining". Some more up to date chilling flicks are "30 days of Night" and "The Saw' franchise movies. You can't ignore the "Friday the 13th" and "Halloween" movies. Stephen King has always scared the bejesus out of us so anything from him is typically really excellent.
Comedy movies entertain everybody. Who doesn't like a good laugh? "The 40 year old virgin" may only be proper for adults but it will make you laugh till you cry. There are a few actors that seem to go with the comedy movies, Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey of course. And all of the previous actors on Saturday Night Live make funny movies. Evaluate "Baby Mama" with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler or Will Farrell in "Semi-Pro" or "Blades of Glory"
The movies that persons want to view over and over again are often the chick-flicks. If you are a fan of Reese Witherspoon try "Sweet Home Alabama" or "Just Like Heaven". There are older favorites like "Fools Rush In" or "Sweet Home Alabama". A great chick movie from 2008 is "What Happens In Vegas" with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. Everyone loves a good chick flick.
