Gator Bait Cajun Justice: Just what you've been delaying for: a continuation, with Loren as the sibling of the personality played in the original by the late Claudia Jennings. City gal MacKenzie is his new spouse; after being pestered by some stereotypically slobbering backwoods boors, she goes into motion. Cast includes Jan MacKenzie, Tray Loren, Jerry Armstrong, Paul Muzzcat, and Ben Sebastian. (95 minutes, 1988)

The Abdication: A slow pace documentary-drama of that tells the story of Sweden's Queen Christina who leaves her thrown and converts to Catholicism. The man sent to test her loyalty to the church becomes the man she falls in love with. Peter Finch, Cyril Cusack, Paul Rogers, and Michael Dunn star. (1974 Drama-History)

Strange Cargo: Fascinating metaphorical film of hostages fleeing from Devil's Island with Christ-like presence of Hunter. Not for all tastes, although there are fine, practical behaviors and flavorful Franz Waxman score. Cast includes Joan Crawford, Clark Gale, Ian Hunter, Peter Lorre, Albert Dekker, Paul Lukas, and Eduardo Ciannelli. (113 minutes, 1940)

Mac: Stone-dense story of a trio of Italian-American brothers in Monarchs, New York, throughout the mid-1950s. The eldest Turturro, a carpenter, is fiercely determined to fathom his American Fantasy, so he starts up his own construction corporation. Stuffed with eccentric humor, however most reinvigorating as a authentic portrayal of the lives and battles of blue-collar Americans. Turturro's directorial debut; he co-scripted with Brandon Cole. The film is committed to Turturro's dad, a carpenter, and injured by the senior Turturro's life. Cinderella Man: Recounts the true story of James J. Braddock, the Cinderella Man. Braddock was a boxer in the early 1930's who was seemingly already washed up from a not so stellar career. He was down on his luck and barely keeping the family alive. To save his family Braddock revives his career, and then does the impossible. He wins the heavyweight title.

Jack the Bear: Occasionally influencing, although mainly messed comedy-tirade in regards to the spiritual deciphering of Ii widowed Television terror-film host whose neighbor is a pro-Nazi psycho who poses a threat to youngsters. Movie is kept on course some of the time by Steinmiller's outstanding behavior as DeVito's older child age twelve. Cast includes Danny DeVito, Robert J. Steinmiller, Miko Hughes, Gary Sinise, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Reese Witherspoon. (98 minutes, 1993)

Stakeout: When performing with his companion on a stakeout, cop Dreyfuss falls in love with the female he's assumed to be observing. The movie is wildly implausible and eventually downright stupid; however amusing all the way through, as a result of acute discussion and behaviors, and some gigantic chuckles.
