No Drums, No Bugles: Pleasantly finished tirade, based on West Virginia fable in reference to conscientious objector throughout Civil Battle who invests 3 years in a cavern instead of quarrel. This is an excellent performance by Sheen, who's the only one on monitor for most of film. Cast includes Martin Sheen. (85 minutes, 1971)
Gorillas In The Mist: The true story of Diane Fossey and her efforts to study and save rare mountain gorillas in Rwanda. There are many poachers who are after the gorillas for the cash value of the parts. She fights the poachers until her eventual death under suspicious circumstances.
The African UOD: Momentous Real-Life documentary is possibly Disney's best. Botanists Alfred and Elma Milotte filmed the African lion in his local dwelling through a year's cycle of seasons. Cast includes James Algar. The film is depicted by Winston Hibler. (75 minutes, 1955)
The Village: Set in the 19th century, people live in a seemingly wonderful little village, but there is a problem. There is a race of 'creatures' that lives surrounding the village. No one inside the village dares to go outside the city. One person, Lucious Hunt, has a strong urge to see what is out there. Eventually the world outside the village is exposed, and chaos ensues.
